WITH GOD WE ARE STRONG
When God is with us we can be strong.
If God is not with us we have a reason to be weak.
God promised Joshua His presence.
Joshua 1:5 As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.
We can know that God is with us.
This should be a source of great strength.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE STRONG?
It is the ability to resist and stand firm.
Resist what?
Fear
Discouragement
Dismay
Doubt
AND stand firm.
Hold our ground.
Being in a place of confident assurance in God.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO HAVE COURAGE?
The main aspect of courage is being BOLD and FEARLESS.
It can be compared to words like: Daring, Adventurous (stepping out), Stouthearted, and Brave.
God wants us to be courageous.
Joshua 1:9 “Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” NKJ
If He is with us we can.
This is the key.
His presence.
Without it we are powerless.
