SCRIPTURE READING:

Isaiah 41:13For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I Who say to you, ‘Fear not, I am the One Who helps you.’

HOLD ONTO HIS HAND IN AN EVER-CHANGING WORLD
We live in a world that is changing as we speak. Things that we could have been sure of, now seem unsure. We live in a very fluid situation and therefore we need to have an anchor to hold onto. The Lord wants you to know that He is your God. He is holding onto you, and you can hold onto Him. He is the One Who wants to come and reassure you that He will see you through. He is the One Who promises to help you and therefore He tells you not to fear.

Isaiah 41:13For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I Who say to you, ‘Fear not, I am the One Who helps you.’

HOLD ONTO HIS HAND WHEN THINGS SEEM UNPREDICTABLE
We live in a world that is unpredictable. I recently heard a story about someone in a certain career. His career was sure, and his skill was in high demand. He was always sure of a good job and lived with this certainty. But with the unpredictability of life, he lost his job and could not find another one. Many others, in the same field, found themselves in the same predicament. No one could have seen a change like this, and it left him exposed and vulnerable. When we face these very unpredictable aspects of life, we need to know that we are holding onto His hand.

Psalm 46:2-3‘Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.’

No matter what may come our way, His hand in our lives is the hope and the certainty that we have to hold onto.
