We often wonder why we are going through certain things. We may even feel that we do not understand why God is allowing us to go through such trials and challenges. These are questions that good people often ask. In the course of life we do face many issues, challenges and problems and in all these cases we are called upon to face and deal with these things. The Bible is full of accounts of how God used the impossible and challenging circumstances in people’s lives to bring about His plans and purposes. Just think about Joseph, Moses and Paul. We may wish away what we are facing, but perhaps God has a hand in things and perhaps He wants to use what you and I may be challenged with for a greater reason?
SCRIPTURE READING:
Daniel 6:1-28 (The story of Daniel in the lion’s den) Key verse: Daniel 6:22
GOD USES WHAT WE GO THROUGH
God uses the problems that we are facing to be able to work in our lives. Primarily God is interested in our hearts. We need to respond wisely to the issues that life brings our way and not get into a reactionary mode. Sometimes one problem can lead to a new solution that could change our lives. One thing that you can be sure of is that God knows what you are facing and what you are going through. He wants to use those things and turn them out for good.
Romans 8:28 We are assured and know that all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.
God is able to turn the most desperate situation around into something good. God’s intentions are clear.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
