WHAT IS HIS GRACE?
It’s God’s favor. It’s God’s loving-kindness. It’s God’s mercy. Divine Mercy. Dictionary definition: ‘Unmerited divine assistance given to man!’ Grace signifies two things:
1. The good-will of God towards us! This is enough to enlighten and enliven us, sufficient to strengthen and comfort us, to support our souls and cheer up our spirits, in all afflictions and distresses.
2. The good work of God in us! Jesus understands our situation, and knows our need, and will work in us and provide for us and use what we are going through for His glory. His strength is made perfect in our weakness.
6. GOD CAN USE OUR WEAKNESS OR OUR STATE OF WEAKNESS
When we are weak in ourselves, then we can be strong in the Lord. When we are weak in ourselves, then we go out of ourselves to Christ. Then we are qualified to receive strength from HIM. We can, in this way, experience divine strength and grace. When I am weak, then am I strong!
