God has good things in store for us.
He wants to be good to us.
At His right hand are pleasures evermore.
He wants His goodness to be a reality to us.
This goodness is available to us personally.
Available to us  as part of God’s church.
Available to us as a nation.
Psalm 34:12 Do you want a long, good life?
This is the question that David, the psalmist asked.
I am sure your answer is yes.
Yes to everything that God has for us.
Yes, to a life filled with the reality of the love and presence of God.
Well, David gives the keys.
And we are going to look at them today.

WE NEED TO LEARN TO TRUST AND FEAR THE LORD

Psalm 34:11 Sons and daughters, come and listen and let me teach you the importance of trusting and fearing the Lord.
It is important that we learn to trust and fear God.
This is something that we develop.
The result of our trusting and fearing of God we should also be obeying Him.
If you have just begun to trust God – KEEP IT UP.
If you have been walking a life of trusting and fearing God, then begin to obey and expect Him to show you Himself.
He wants to make Himself real to us.
This is key one to a good and long life.

1 Peter 3:10-12 f you want a happy, good life, keep control of your tongue, and guard your lips from telling lies. 11Turn away from evil and do good. Try to live in peace even if you must run after it to catch and hold it! 12For the Lord is watching his children, listening to their prayers; but the Lord’s face is hard against those who do evil.
