FAITH ENCOURAGES US TO BRING OUR BEST TO GOD
Hebrews 11:4 By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did. By faith he was commended as a righteous man.
When there is faith in our hearts we want to bring the best we have to offer to God, to Him. We don’t want anything to stand in the way and as a result we want to present to God the best we have.
FAITH WANTS MORE OF GOD
When we have faith in our lives we long for more of God. Enoch was a man who walked with God. In his faith Enoch understood that walking with God and knowing God’s presence in his life was the most important thing in life.
Hebrews 11:5 Enoch trusted God too, and that is why God took him away to heaven without dying; suddenly he was gone because God took him. Before this happened God had said how pleased He was with Enoch.
Faith causes us to want more of the presence of God.
