Acts 2:38-40 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off – for all whom the Lord our God will call.” With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.”
- Repent – every one of you. – Acts 2:38 ‘Repent, every one of you….’
- Be Baptised and be forgiven – every one of you. – Acts 2:38 ‘Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins….’
- Receive The Holy Spirit. – Acts 2:38 ‘And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’
- Be Saved From A Corrupt Generation – Acts 2:40 ‘Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.’ Don’t let the world press you into its mould.
The Holy Spirit is the one who comes and walks alongside us to lead and guide us and show us the way.
