John 1:14
‘So the Word became human and made His home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen His glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.’

1. Jesus Christ is the Sure Foundation.

Mark 12:10 The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes.

Jesus wants to be the SURE FOUNDATION of our lives.
2. There are other aspects that also form part of the firm foundation that God has laid for us. The promises of God in general—His word, on which we can hope. God wants to be God to you; this is a foundation, a foundation of stone, firm and lasting, for you to build your faith upon.
