If God is going to be our ALL, it is going to call for certain things. This calls for a quality decision. This calls for repentance.
Numbers 21:7 The people said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord, that He may take away the serpents from us. So Moses prayed for the people.
It calls for a different focus.
Numbers 21:9 Moses made a serpent of bronze and put it on a pole, and if a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked to the serpent of bronze [attentively, expectantly, with a steady and absorbing gaze], he lived.
This is something far more than a casual glance. The Amplified Bible says they looked attentively, expectantly, with a steady and with absorbing gaze. This is how we should live our Christian lives.
