Stay focused. Everything the world does and offers, is designed to distract us. When Christ is our all we can really live!

Numbers 21:9 Moses made a serpent and put it on a pole, and if a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked to the serpent he lived.
Hebrews 12:1-2 Since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us, Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Jesus said that as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, “that everyone who believes in Him [who cleaves to Him, trusts Him and relies on Him] may not perish, but have eternal life and [actually] live forever!” (John 3:14-15).
The business of our lives is not to please ourselves or others, but to please God.  When Christ is made all in all, that is true Christianity.  Let Christ be all and in all!
