There is no reason for despair and hopelessness if we KNOW that God is with us.
1 John 4:4 Dear young friends, you belong to God and have already won your fight with those who are against Christ because there is someone in your hearts who is stronger than any evil teacher in this wicked world.
With God on our side we can be positive and optimistic.
Psalm 16:8-9 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
We can be glad and we can rejoice and we can experience rest. All of this because God is with us.
