This is where we will find the greatest contentment.  As we are connected to God it leads to life.

Proverbs 19:23 The fear of the LORD leads to life: Then one rests content.

Then we do not need to substitute our longings with some earthly thing.  Earthly things can be a trap that hinders us from enjoying many of the heavenly things that God designed us to enjoy.

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have.
Philippians 4:19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
