Daily Bible Verse: 1 John 2:17 (NLT)
'This world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.'
- We live in a world that is characterised by constant change.
- Our earthly experience is temporary and fleeting.
- What is popular and essential today may well be irrelevant tomorrow.
- But when we do what pleases God, there is an eternal reward in store for us.
Prayer: Lord, help me to keep my eyes fixed on You. May I not be influenced and drawn away from You by things that are temporary and fading away. I choose to do what pleases You. Amen.
Daily Bible Verse: 1 John 2:17 (NLT)
'This world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.'
Daily Bible Verse: Hebrews 6:19a
'We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.'
HE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU
Introduction:

- God has NOT forgotten about you.
- No matter what you feel, think or believe, God has NOT forgotten you.
- God tells us in His Word that He will NEVER forget about us.
- There are so many great confirmations regarding this wonderful fact.
- The fact is that God will not forget you.
- May this become a living reality to you today.
- May you live in the knowledge of the fact that God is thinking about you and will never forget you.
1. WE HAVE THIS ASSURANCE
- We have God's Word as our assurance that He will not forget us.
- This is why we can be confident and have hope in our hearts.
- Look at the assurance that God gives us.
- Hosea 9:9 'The Lord does not forget.'
- Let me remind you that God has not and will not forget about you.
- You can rest in this sure fact.

3. WE ARE IMPORTANT TO GOD
- It is because you are important to God that He will not forget you.
- Don't underestimate your value to God.
- Luke 12:6 'What is the price of five sparrows? A couple of pennies? Not much more than that. Yet God does not forget a single one of them. And He knows the number of hairs on your head! Never fear, you are far more valuable to Him than a whole flock of sparrows.'
- Let me remind you today that you are valuable and important to God.

- God will not do what humans do, He will not forget you.
- Isaiah 49:14-16 Yet they say, 'My Lord deserted us; He has forgotten us.' 'Never! Can a mother forget her little child and not have love for her own son? Yet even if that should be, I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed your name upon My palm.'
- Just think about the fact that your name may be written on His hand.
- How marvelous and how wonderful is this thought.
- Write it down, stick it up, do something, BUT never forget that God will never forget you.
5. NEVER IS A LONG TIME
- Never is an exceedingly long time.
- Never is not only for your lifetime.
- Our time reference in life is our lifetimes.
- For some people it is about 70 or maybe 80 years.
- That is the length of the concept of 'never' for us humans.
- But 'never' to God is eternal, it has no end.
- Even beyond your physical lifetime, God will not forget you.

7. WE MUST NOT FORGET GOD
- In life, we may forget God, but the reverse is never true.

- God wants the fact that He will not forget you to become a living reality in your life.
- He does not just want to be someone in the Book.
- He never forgot the people of faith throughout history.
- Genesis 8:1 'God didn't forget about Noah and all the animals in the boat! He sent a wind to blow across the waters, and the floods began to disappear.'
- And He will not forget you, NO, never!
