Proverbs 15:13 (Amplified Bible)
‘A heart full of joy and goodness makes a cheerful face, but when a heart is full of sadness the spirit is crushed.’
– What we allow our hearts to be full of, determines the course of our lives.
– What is happening in our hearts can often be seen on our faces.
– We will experience sadness, but joy should be our ultimate choice.
– The Lord wants to come and exchange the sadness with His joy.
Prayer: Lord, thank You that my heart can be filled with Your joy. Sometimes my heart does get overwhelmed, but right now I give You those things that concern me and I ask You to fill me with Your joy! Amen.
