Luke 1:46 – 47
Mary said, ‘My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour.’
– Mary recognised the greatness of what was about to happen.
– In that moment she allowed her soul to magnify the Lord and to see His greatness.
– It was a moment when her spirit rejoiced in God her Saviour.
– Let your soul and your spirit be filled with His glory, and start rejoicing.
Prayer: Lord, as I think about Your coming and Your birth, my soul is thrilled and my spirit is rejoicing. You came so that I could experience Your presence in my life. Fill my life with the knowledge of Your greatness and of Your lovingkindness towards me. Amen.
