Daily Bible verse: Matthew 14:27
But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.’
– How reassuring it is to hear these words spoken by our Lord.
– Life has a way of giving us so much to be worried and anxious about.
– But in the midst of it we hear these words: ‘Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.’
– Take heart, don’t worry and be courageous, because He is with you.
Prayer: Lord, when You spoke these words to Your disciples they were afraid. Your words brought them comfort and strength. Today I receive these same words into my heart and I am also strengthened and reassured because You are the same, yesterday, today and forever. Amen.
