Exodus 19:8
The people all responded together, ‘We will do everything the LORD has said.’
– To obey is better than sacrifice.
– Obedience is the expression of our love and trust in God.
– God values a willing and obedient heart more than outward acts of service.
– Blessing and favour follow those who walk in submission to His voice.
Prayer: Lord, I choose to do what pleases You. Help me to respond to Your leading with a willing and obedient heart. Teach me to follow Your ways, knowing that true worship is found in my obedience to You. Amen.
