John 21:7
‘When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment, and plunged into the sea.’
– Simon Peter was ready to give up everything to get to the Lord.
– He left his boat and he left his friends to get to be with the Lord.
– In life there are so many things that hold us back from pursuing God.
– It’s time for some reckless abandon, as we follow HIM with all our hearts.
Prayer: Lord, I choose to put You first in my life. May the things of this world never have a greater hold on me than my desire for more of You. My heart says: ‘I will follow You first!’. Amen.
