Matthew 24:35
‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.’
– Most things in life are just temporary, but God and His words are eternal.
– We need to remind ourselves that what we are facing will eventually end.
– In the end all we have are the words of God that we can hold on to.
– Find your security in His words and let the eternal be the anchor of your soul.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for giving me something sure that I can hold onto even when I am surrounded by an ever-changing world. Help me to keep my eyes fixed on You and on Your promises that will never fail or pass away. Amen.
