Philippians 2:13
‘For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.’
– You are important to God and that’s why He is working within you.
– He invests in those who are important to Him and that includes you.
– Ultimately He wants to see us developing a longing for more of Him.
– Out of this longing comes the desire and the ability to do what pleases Him.
Prayer: Lord, it is my desire and longing to know You more clearly and to love You more dearly. Come and work within my heart so that I will be more like You and so that I will live my life in such a way that is pleasing to You. Amen.
