Psalm 127:1
‘Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labour in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.’
– We desperately need God in our lives.
– He makes all the difference and He makes everything worthwhile.
– With Him, all we do has meaning and purpose.
– Without Him, all we do is human effort and does not guarantee anything.
Prayer: Lord, I realise that I need You in my life. I don’t want to do things in my own strength and initiative. I don’t want to waste my time on futile things, but I want to be part of what You are building and watching over. Amen.
