‘The Lord Himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a Child! She will give birth to a Son and will call Him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’).’
– Long before the Christmas story, God told us what He would do.
– The Lord always does what He says He will do.
– God sent the ultimate Gift in the form of His Son.
– Now you can know what it means to have God with you.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for the promise of the Gift of Your Son and for the fulfilment of that promise when He came to live among us. It is such a joy for us to know that God is with us and this is something we will always value and appreciate. Amen.
