When we get to the point where we just accept things and are no longer pursuing God, we stand to miss the great things that God has in store for us.
It is possible to accept an attitude of acceptance: ‘This is as good as it is going to get.’ ‘I will just live with my life as it is.’ ‘God is not interested in me.’
Perhaps it would have been better to call this an attitude of complacency. God wants us to press on towards the goal of knowing Him.
We must exchange our complacency and acceptance for a desire for more of God. To seek Him and to find Him.
