Being fathers is not always easy. But God meant that we should be good fathers. How can we become good fathers? I believe that there are some simple keys that will help us to become the fathers that God intended us to be. You don’t have to be a physical father to play a role of fathering. God wants to raise up a generation of men who are real fathers. What can we do to be effective fathers to our children or to those who look to us as people who play such a role?

ENCOURAGE

Always encourage. Take time to honestly encourage your children. The purpose of encouragement is to strengthen and harness the power within others to move them towards what is in their best interests. Always encourage when you see positive signs. Real fathers have their children’s best interests at heart. Have the best interests of your children at heart. Inspire with children with courage, spirit and hope. Spur them on and give them help. Encourage, encourage, encourage and do not stop.
