FRUITFUL IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCE
But you may say, ‘If you knew my circumstances you would understand why I cannot produce fruit.’ Perhaps you have a boss who is destroying you. Perhaps you have a spouse who is undermining you. Perhaps you have to live in a situation that makes fruitfulness difficult. But God wants us to be fruitful where we are in whatever circumstances we may find ourselves. Joseph was an example of this.
Genesis 41:51-52 Joseph named his second boy Ephraim (meaning “Fruitful”—“For God has made me fruitful in this land of my slavery,” he said).
In prison, in slavery and in bondage, Joseph remained fruitful. You can be fruitful in any situation or circumstance.
THE BLESSING OF BEING FRUITFUL
God blessed mankind with the ability to be fruitful.
Genesis 1:27-28 So God created man in his own image, and God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply.
Within each of us is a blessing from God that will allow us to be fruitful.
God instructed humanity to be fruitful, but not before He blessed them so that they could be fruitful. Perhaps we need to receive that blessing again so that we can be fruitful. Prayer: God bless us so that we can fruitful people.
