THE RESULT OF THE PROMISES
To bring glory to God. We can bring glory to God because He has come down to us in His love and made promises to us. We can glorify God when we see Him keeping His promises. We can glorify God by expecting what He has promised. We can glorify God when the promise comes through.
HOLD ON TO GOD’S PROMISES
If you have promises that God has given you – hold on to them! Don’t give up and despair! When people in business add up their income, they add the cheques and the cash and the cheques are as good as cash when they make up their banking. But cheques are not cash they are only promises. It’s like that with God. Some things we have already and some are still in the form of a promise. But in God’s eyes it is one and the same.
Trust God’s word and take His promises as true.
