2 Peter 1:1 Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours.
Your faith in God is precious. The fact that you believe in Jesus is a precious treasure. Sometimes we take our faith for granted. Sometimes we are embarrassed of our faith. The world is trying to convince us that ‘all roads lead to God’. The Bible tells us that only the road of Jesus leads to God! John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me. Our faith in Jesus is the only road that leads to God. This makes it extremely precious. Because of this great fact we should:
1. Tell everyone about our precious faith.
2. Protect our precious faith by endeavouring to live a life that honours God.
3. Never take your precious faith for granted.
4. Never be ashamed of your precious faith.
5. Value your faith. Don’t de-value your faith!
6. Share your faith.
7. Pass your faith on to the next generation.
