What the cloud represents in the Bible

Daily Thought

Your Word for 25 December 2024

Luke 2:11
‘Today… a Saviour has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord!’

cloud
The cloud was the physical manifestation of God to the people.  But what does the cloud represent in our lives?  The cloud represents two major elements for us:
1. The cloud represents the presence of God.
2. The cloud represents the plan and purpose of God.
We need to sense the cloud of His presence in our lives. As the presence of God becomes a reality so His plan and purpose for our lives can begin to unfold. Moses understood this great truth.

Exodus 33:15 For Moses had said, “If You aren’t going with us, don’t let us move a step from this place”.

This is something we need to nurture and protect. We must not allow anything to get in the way.  It is so easy to get busy and distracted with what we are doing, that we do not even realize that the cloud has moved on.
