Colossians 2:9-10 ‘For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you are also complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.’ (New Living Translation)

The apostle unmistakably affirms that the Divine nature, in its entirety, belongs to Christ. Jesus Christ is God.  Don’t doubt or try to second guess this truth. True fulfillment only comes through our union with Him.  True peace can only be a reality when birthed through our union with Him.
I remember a time in my own life when it felt as if everything was being stripped away. I had lost my own earthly father, all we had sowed our lives into was being removed and every promise seemed to be betrayed in front of our very eyes. It was at this time that an old song came to mind: ‘Take the whole world, but give me Jesus!’ In that I found comfort because although human beings or circumstances may be able to take from you what is dear and precious, they cannot take your Saviour, Jesus, from you.
I once read this quote: ‘Everybody has gone through something that has changed them in a way that they could never go back to the person they once were!’
We do go through things like this…. BUT remember: No man, no sickness, no circumstances, no death, no trauma, no depression, no hopelessness can take HIM from you.  Let Jesus be all the world to you.  Let Him be your life, your joy, and your all.  Let Him be your daily strength.  Let Him be the one who picks you up when you fall.  Let Him be the one you go to when you are sad or discouraged.  Let Him be the source of every blessing in your life.  Let Him be the one who makes you glad.  Let Him be your greatest friend.  Follow Him during the day and during the night.  When you don’t know what else to say, then just say His name: Jesus!  Trust Him in life and trust Him in death.

Romans 14:9 ‘For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that He might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.’
Colossians 2:9 ‘For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.’
