‘Today… a Saviour has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord!’

God wants to restore what He has done in the past. Sometimes we think that what God did in the past belongs to the past. Life tells us that what is over is over. But what God has done in the past, He wants to do today. We can legitimately ask God to do what He has done in the past again.

Habakkuk 3:2 LORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, O LORD. Renew them in our day, in our time make them known.
Habakkuk 3:2 O Lord, now I have heard your report, and I worship you in awe for the fearful things you are going to do. In this time of our deep need, begin again to help us, as you did in years gone by. Show us your power to save us. (Living Bible)

God wants to restore the moving of His Spirit and His power.
