In our day-to-day lives we need to begin to trust God to direct us. There must be this constant expectation that God wants to lead and direct us. We must begin to rely more and more on Him and his direction in our lives. This journey of dependence is vital.
Begin by expecting God to direct you in the small things and then begin to depend on Him for the big things. In the process we will learn what it means to be dependent on God and will be directed by Him in the process.
Proverbs 16:9 We should make plans—counting on God to direct us.
If we will put God first in our lives, then we can expect that He will direct our lives. Putting God first in all you do is something you need to do. We must put God first, making Him our priority.
There is a reward! He will direct our efforts. He will give us success. What more could we want?
Proverbs 3:6 – Living Bible – In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success.
NIV – In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
NKJV – In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
