To feel like this may not be pleasant, but it is not something unique to you.  You are not the only one who has felt like this or experienced a season like this.  Even the writer of the Psalms felt like this on occasion.

Psalm 10:1 Why, O LORD, do You stand far off? Why do You hide Yourself in times of trouble?

Here the Psalmist asks the question: ‘Why, O LORD, do you stand far off?’ He must have been feeling as if something was standing in the way.  This is especially true when we face challenges and difficulties. We may even begin to feel as if even God has deserted us.
Look at the question the writer of this Psalm asks. ‘Why do You hide Yourself in times of trouble?’  The truth is that God will never leave you or forsake you, even if it may feel as if He has.
If you have felt like God is afar off, then you are not alone. There are examples of the people in the Bible who felt this way or must have felt this way!
