Isaiah 46:4 I will be your God throughout your lifetime—until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.
As children we loved the park. The park was close to us and it had an old stone bridge over a small stream. I loved to pick up dry leaves or small sticks and stand on the one side of the bridge and drop one or two and run to the other side of the bridge and watch the leaves/stick appear as they were carried along by the water. It was usually a bumpy ride for the leaves but they would be carried along by the water and the current, past rocks and pools and I would watch as they disappeared into the distance.
It is a picture to me of how God wants to carry us along. If we allow God He will come and carry us through the process of life.
