Isaiah 9:6
‘For a Child is born to us, a Son is given to us. He will be called: Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.’

Psalm 68:5 A father to the fatherless,… is God in His holy habitation.
Isaiah 64:8 But now, 0 Lord, Thou art our father; we are the clay, and Thou our potter; and we all are the work of Thy hands.
Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed by thy name.
Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

If God is our Father, then Jesus is our elder brother, which makes us joint heirs with Christ. (Romans 8:17) What a privilege to belong to this family!
