Within our human makeup there is a sense of eternity.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He also has planted eternity in men’s hearts and minds [a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy].

This knowledge that we are meant to live forever in a world in which everything dies is the contrast we face.  We know death is inevitable, but we want to live forever because we are wired that way.  This makes everything we do different. The way we see life, the way we live life and the choices we make along the way.
How is all this possible and what are the decision we have to make to ensure that we will enjoy the eternal life that God has planned for us?  We first need to come to the realization that life is all about God and everything else pales in insignificance.

Matthew 16:26 What profit is there if you gain the whole world—and lose eternal life? What can be compared with the value of eternal life?

Then we need to make that all-important decision to choose God as our own personal Lord and Saviour.

John 6:47 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, he who believes in Me [who adheres to, trusts in, relies on, and has faith in Me] has (now possesses) eternal life.

Our eternal life with God can start now during our earthly experience.

John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.

What is stopping you?  You can live forever and that eternity can start now!
