God's family are part of God's Kingdom

Your Word for 20 December 2024

Isaiah 9:6
‘For a Child is born to us, a Son is given to us. He will be called: Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.’

When we meet with the Lord Jesus and are born again into the family of God we soon learn that Jesus is both our Elder Brother and our King! Whenever members of God’s family study the kingdom of God their eyes are opened by revelation after revelation. As I have studied the kingdom I have come to two very important conclusions:

The days of heavy denominationalism are over!
The days for kingdom mentality have arrived.

What is the CHURCH?
The true church consists of all who have been born again into God’s family.
What is the KINGDOM?
The kingdom consists of all born again people who have made Jesus King of their lives!
