God loves each of us. God wants to bless each of us.  He wants to be a father to us.  Fathers love to give their children the things they love and desire.  It is just the same with God.

Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord.

The Psalmist writes and tells us to delight our selves in God. What does this mean?  The Living Bible translation gives us a glimpse:

Psalm 37:4 Be delighted with the Lord

For me this means that we should be happy with God.  We should derive our joy and pleasure from our relationship with Him.  He should be our source.  We should love the company of God.  We should long for and desire His presence.
