God is looking for faith in people. Again and again in scripture we see how important faith is. We need this active faith in our lives. When God sees active faith, it pleases Him.
Hebrews 11:6 You can never please God without faith, without depending on him. Anyone who wants to come to God must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely look for him.
It is interesting to note that without the element of faith we can never please God. I want to be a God pleaser so I need my faith to be active.
