Kindness is another way in which we can bring hope to others. We live in a ruthless world where everyone is concerned about himself or herself. Selfishness is the dominant sin.
When we begin to show kindness we begin to reverse the effects of selfishness and create an opportunity for God to touch the lives of others. As we show kindness we can become a source of hope and a people of hope to others.

Ephesians 4:32 Be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God has forgiven you because you belong to Christ.

I have discovered that everyone responds to kindness. I remember once reading a quote in a diary. It said: ‘Be gentle with everyone, for everyone is facing his or her own challenges’.  Become a person of hope as you show kindness to others.
