To think that God knows our names. Yes, even the hairs on our heads are numbered by God. He knows all about us. Our names can be written in God’s book. He cares for us and our well-being. He wants the best for us. And He wants to call us by name. This is an awesome thought. That we can be known by God.
Isaiah 45:3 I, the Lord, the God of Israel, the one who calls you by your name.
The Lord the God of Israel calls you. He calls you by not by name but by your name. If it was by name, He could have said: ‘Hey, human’. But it is by YOUR name. James, Paul, Mary, Joan, Jason, Christine. Can you hear him calling your name? I believe he wants to call us and to be heard by us to be calling to us. We must just respond.
