When God is first in our lives we can enjoy security. For this to happen in our lives we need to put God first.

Psalm 16:8-10 ‘I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me.’
- If we will put God first then we can enjoy the following:
- 1. His presence – ‘He is at my right hand’
2. Confidence – ‘I will not be shaken’
3. Joy – ‘My heart is glad’
4. Happiness – ‘My tongue rejoices’
5. Security – ‘My body will also rest secure’
6. Promise – ‘You will not abandon me’
