1 Chronicles 16:11 Seek the Lord and His strength; yearn for and seek His face and to be in His presence continually! (Amplified Bible)
It is interesting that it says: ‘SEEK HIS FACE!’ It does not say; ‘SEEK HIM’ or ‘SEEK HIS HAND’. When we are seeking God’s face, we are seeking God’s heart and His mind. The problem is that many people actually only seek His hand and what He can give them to solve their immediate and their pressing needs. But we are encouraged to seek more than this. We must seek God, not just for what we can get, but simply because He is God! Francis Frangipane describes it this way: “There are certain times when the Lord calls us out of the routine of our daily lives. These are special seasons where His only command is, “Seek My Face.” He has something precious and vitally important to give us that the familiar pattern of our daily devotions cannot accommodate. During such times people are often delivered of sins that have plagued them for years; others discover a depth in their walk with God that leads to greater effectiveness in ministry and prayer; still others experience breakthroughs in their families and are used by God to see loved ones brought into the Kingdom.” When we SEEK HIS FACE, as a priority in our lives, situations, circumstances and the conditions we find ourselves in can change!
STAY CONNECTED TO GOD
1 Chronicles 16:11 Seek the Lord and His strength; yearn for and seek His face and to be in His presence continually! (Amplified Bible)
Here we are encouraged to seek to be in His presence continually in our lives.
John 15:5 I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.
Do you want to be strengthened by God? Stay in vital union with Him! Stay connected to God! It is possible to cut yourself off from the vital connection you have with God. Or we can choose to stay, vitally connected to God!
Psalm 105:4 Seek, inquire of and for the Lord, and crave Him and His strength (His might and inflexibility to temptation); seek and require His face and His presence [continually] evermore.
Receive His strength today and BE STRENGTHENED BY GOD!
John 15:7 If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.
