Years ago there used to be a bank that had a catch phrase ‘YOUR HELPING HAND FOR LIFE!’ I am not sure which bank it was. The bank has gone but the truth of the phrase, as it applies to God, lives on. God’s hand is YOUR HELPING HAND FOR LIFE! God’s hand is open, it is not closed. If you see God’s hand as closed I hope that today you will change the way you think!
Psalm 145:16 You open Your hand and satisfy every living thing with favor.?
Psalm 104:28 You open Your hand, and they are filled with good things.?
I want to say that the hand of God is open to you today and He is reaching out to you and all you need to do is take hold of His open hand. Closed hands are a sign of withholding, open hands are a sign of giving. Even the way Jesus died was with His arms outstretched and His hands nailed open – never to be shut!
GOD’S HAND HAS A HAND IN EVERY ASPECT OF OUR LIVES
Each and every aspect of our lives is marked by the touch of the hand of God. This includes our birth and our death.
Psalm 119:73 Your hands have made me and fashioned (formed) me.
Right from the start of life God’s hand has played a role. Even the time of our deaths include God’s hand.
Psalm 31:15 My times are in Your hands!
And ALL along the road of life His hand is ready to help.
Psalm 119:173 May your hand be ready to help me.
