2. GOD WANTS TO SATISFY YOU
Isaiah 58:11 The LORD will satisfy your soul in drought.
Not only does God want to guide us continually, He also wants to satisfy us. The word ‘satisfy’ is usually used in association with food. When we eat we are filled up and satisfied. Hunger is one of the basic human needs and something people will go to great lengths to satisfy. When we are satisfied, the feelings of hunger and lack are settled. Perhaps you feel that in some areas of your life you are unfulfilled, incomplete or lacking. God wants to meet you at your point of need and satisfy that need or longing. Another version of this scripture says as follows: ‘the Lord shall satisfy you in drought and in dry places’. If there is an area of your life that is dry and barren, He wants to come and satisfy it. Those problematic areas, God wants to address and meet the need.
3. GOD WANTS TO STRENGTHEN YOU
Isaiah 58:11‘And strengthen your bones!’
God’s strength is available to you today. Our bones are on the inside and He wants to strengthen us from the inside out. Have you ever heard the phrase: ‘I feel tired to the bone’? Sometimes we can feel so weak that even our bones feel week. Today, God wants to come and strengthen you. Receive His strength now. Strengthened is to be enabled, empowered and strong, firm and established.
