GOD WANTS TO MAKE US FRUITFUL
I like this aspect because it makes it so easy. We do not have to produce our own fruit.It is a natural outflow of being connected to God.
Leviticus 26:9 I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers, and I will keep my covenant with you.
Psalm 105:24 ‘The LORD made his people very fruitful.’
We see how that God wants to make us fruitful. If He does the work it is so much better and so much easier. Prayer: God I want you to make me fruitful.
GOD WATCHES THE FRUITFUL
Those who produce fruit get special attention from God. God attentively watches the fruitful.
Isaiah 27:3 I the Lord, will tend the fruitful vines; every day I’ll water them, and day and night I’ll watch to keep all enemies away.
If you are living a fruitful life then God has got His eye on you. I love to know that that I am living under the watchful eye of the living God. But being under the watchful eye of the ‘keeper of the vines’ also includes another, perhaps, difficult aspect.
