GOD’S DIRECTION
Psalm 37:23-24 The steps of good men are directed by the Lord. He delights in each step they take. If they fall, it isn’t fatal, for the Lord holds them with his hand.
In what ways does God want to direct our steps? I believe that God wants to point us in a specific direction. He wants to move us towards something that is what we were appointed or created to do. He wants to show us the way we need to go. He wants to point out the course that He has destined for us. He wants to guide us every step of the way.
IF GOD DIRECTS US WE CAN BE CONFIDENT
If God, who is the creator of the universe, can direct us as individuals, we can have confidence. God’s plans for us are for our good.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
If we will allow God to direct us then He will bring these plans to pass. As God is allowed to protect us there is protection.
Psalm 119:133 Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me.
If God is allowed to direct our footsteps, we can be confident.
