It is a privilege to be part of the family of God.

It is a privilege to be able to share in the blessings that God has planned for His family. As an earthly father loves to bless his family, so our heavenly Father loves to bless His children.
God’s plan is that His children should be the most blessed people on earth!

FROM WAY BACK IN THE OLD TESTAMENT IT WAS GOD’S PLAN TO BLESS HIS PEOPLE!

The blessings of the Old Testament were MAINLY TEMPORAL [relating to time or of this world] In other words, His blessings were visible and material blessings.  This is evident from DEUTERONOMY 28
God’s blessings cover every area of our lives.  Carefully note what blessings God promises to those who OBEY Him.
Deuteronomy 28:1-2  “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.  “And ALL THESE BLESSINGS SHALL COME UPON YOU AND OVERTAKE YOU, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God:” 
THE BIBLE NOW LISTS AT LEAST TWELVE WAYS IN WHICH GOD WANTS TO BLESS HIS PEOPLE!
[1]  GOD WANTS TO BLESS THOSE WHO LIVE TOGETHER IN GROUPS!
Verse 3  “Blessed shall you be in the city, … “
[2]  GOD WANTS TO BLESS US WITH PRODUCTIVITY!
Verse 3 “… and blessed shall you be in the country.” 
Verse 4 “… the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.”
[3]  GOD ALSO WANTS TO BLESS OUR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES!
 Verse 4  “Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, … ”
