This power of God is available to us.

Luke 9:1 ‘When Jesus had called the twelve together, He gave them power and authority.’
Luke 10:19 ’Behold I give you power.’
2 Corinthians 13:3 ‘For He is not weak and feeble in dealing with you, but is a mighty power within you.’

We see Jesus making this power available to human beings.  Most people are not taking advantage of God’s power because they are too busy doing their own things.  I believe that it is in the heart of God to make His power freely available to those who love Him.
 
Power is connected to the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit was the one who was sent to walk with us.

Acts 1:8 ‘But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.’

We need to look to the Holy Spirit for this power.

Ephesians 5:18 ‘Do not get drunk with wine …. But ever be filled and stimulated with the Holy Spirit.’

The Holy Spirit wants to make God’s power a reality to us.

John 6:63 ‘It is the Spirit that brings life, the flesh profits nothing.’
Ephesians 3:16 ‘Be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man, by the Holy Spirit, Himself, indwelling your inner most being and personality.’
