Humanity is always trying to discover the secret to life. In search of this, people get in to all types of strange things. There is a constant yearning in man for something more to life.
I have found the rich searching for this. I have found the powerful searching for this. I have found the influential searching for this. I have found the ordinary people looking for this. The secret of life is tied up in the person of the Holy Spirit.
John 3:6 Men can only reproduce human life, but the Holy Spirit gives new life from heaven.
We are looking for the new life from heaven. It can come from no one else but the Holy Spirit. Do you want to know more of Jesus? It starts with the one who can make Jesus real to us. If Christianity is going to be of any value, it will only be as Jesus becomes more real to us. We need this living reality of Jesus in our lives.
John 14:26 But when the Father sends the Comforter instead of me—and by the Comforter I mean the Holy Spirit—he will teach you much, as well as remind you of everything I myself have told you.
John 15:26 “But I will send you the Comforter—the Holy Spirit, the source of all truth. He will come to you from the Father and will tell you all about me.
The Holy Spirit wants to tell us all about Jesus.
