Moving with the cloud

Daily Thought

Your Word for 26 July 2024

Psalm 143:10
‘Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God. May Your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.’

cloud
Moving with the cloud is one of the most important concepts we could ever begin to understand. The ability to ascertain what God is doing in our lives, families, careers and churches is the key to staying fresh and relevant.  When we move with the cloud we stay in tune with what God wants to do. This gives us an edge!
When we follow our ideas or what seems good to us, we begin to step out and away from the cloud towards an ultimate state of barrenness. We need to stay alert and alive to God, so that we can be sensitive to Him and ready to move at the slightest indication.  When God begins to move it’s not necessarily at a time that is convenient to us, nor a plan that fits in with what we had planned.  We need to be watchful, alert and ready to move with God!
